OUR STORY
Here's a fun fact: Drive Me Nuts started in a kitchen, not a lab. Yep, that's right! Our founder, Louis, a former international rugby player from Belgium, took the DIY route when he went vegetarian. His mission was simple - find a meatless source of protein to help him maintain his weight and stay healthy.
Being an athlete, Louis realized that peanut butter was the perfect solution. It was delicious, nutritious, and made from simple, natural ingredients. Plus, it was the perfect fuel he needed to recover from his intense rugby sessions. But there was a catch...
The peanut butter that lined supermarket shelves was a far cry from what he was looking for. They were loaded with refined sugars and ingredients that required a PhD to pronounce! And the so-called 'natural' options? Let's just say they were as exciting as watching paint dry.
Instead of settling for these options, Louis chose to take matters into his own hands. He turned his kitchen into a lab of sorts and started making his own peanut butter. He wanted to create something that would not only meet his dietary needs but also be fun to eat.
And that's how Drive Me Nuts came to be. Born out of one athlete’s quest for a healthier alternative to the overly processed spreads, our brand continues to embrace the spirit of Louis' original mission. We believe in keeping things natural, tasty, and above all, fun - because who said eating healthy has to be boring? Not us, that's for sure!
